主要研究内容
主要从事营养盐动力学的相关研究。对磷限制对浮游植物氮吸收速率的调节的研究结果表明磷限制主要抑制浮游植物对硝酸盐的吸收利用;对珠江口不同形态磷的观测调查,从径流量季节变化的角度阐释磷限制出现的原因。围绕中小尺度过程对营养盐循环的影响展开的工作表明,冷涡内湍流输送营养盐支撑新生产力对初级生产的贡献明显低于暖涡。对养殖海湾营养盐循环的研究,揭示了综合养殖海湾不同养殖生物种类间在释放、吸收、移除营养盐的相互协同作用;阐明了养殖活动对河口、潟湖营养盐的循环过程及沉积环境的影响机制,为养殖模式单一的海湾的生态环境可持续发展提供科学依据。基于以往在人类活动对海洋生态环境影响的相关工作,主持国自然青年基金,作为子课题负责人或项目骨干参加国自然面上项目、国自然重点项目、广东省重点项目等多项。发表论文30余篇。
